On March 16, 2023, Maxim Kalinkin, Vice President of GPB Bank (JSC), CEO of Gazprombank Leasing Group, met with students of the Faculty of Finance at the FinU. The event was held as part of the educational process and was attended by over 90 students.
Today Gazprombank Leasing Group is the leader of the Russian leasing market according to Expert RA, serving more than 45 thousand customers across the country.
The actual practice of using leasing became the agenda of the meeting. Speaking to the students, the expert focused on the macroeconomic situation, segmentation by leasing subjects, the dynamics of Russian leasing, external restrictions on the leasing market, the main advantages of leasing, despite the turbulence in which the business found itself, as well as the prospects for building a career for alumni of the FinU in the leasing industry.
At the end of the speech, Maxim Kalinkin answered all the students’ questions.
The event was held with the support of the Department of Employment and Career Development of the Directorate of Employment, Career Development and Work with Alumni together with the Faculty of Finance.
