On March 16, 2023, the Vice-Rector for Continuing Education, E.A. Didenko, took part in the VII St. Petersburg International Labor Forum, one of the largest discussion platforms in human capital development and labor relations.

The forum brought together owners, heads of companies and HR specialists, legislators and civil servants, heads of regional employment services, representatives of science and education, public and expert organizations.

E.A. Didenko attended the plenary session “Role of Employment Service in the Economy of Modern Times” with the participation of Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Russian Federation E.V. Mukhtiyarova and Deputy Head of Rostrud Ya.P. Talbatsky and took part in the discussion of changes in employment legislation as part of the discussion “New Employment Law” with the participation of heads of regional executive authorities, exercising powers in employment promotion.

As part of the labor forum, a round table of the Russian Association of Business Education “Business Education in the Interests of Sustainable Economic Development” was also held, where E.A. Didenko spoke about business education development at the FinU and new academic programs, informing the meeting participants about the visit of the FinU delegation to the Republic of India in February 2023 and about development of a new academic program for Indian entrepreneurs “Doing Business in Russia”.

The Vice-Rector for Continuing Education held meetings with the Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Labor and Employment (Rostrud) Ya.P. Talbatsky, Director of the Employment Center of Moscow A.A. Tarasov, Minister of Economy of the Krasnodar Krai A.S. Yurtaev, Chairman of the Committee on Labor and Employment of the Leningrad Region A.Y. Astratova and representatives of many regional employment services population and Research Institute of Labor of the Ministry of Labor of Russia.

During the meetings, E.A. Didenko informed about the participation of the FinU in the implementation of the national project “Demography” in 2023 and about the developed portfolio of continuing education programs. Also, E.A. Didenko took part in the discussion of current directions for the continuing education programs development for civil servants, regional officials and entrepreneurs.
