On March 14, 2023, a reporting meeting of the practice-oriented student club “Self-Government Beyond Borders” was held at the FinU. As part of the event, the results of the club’s work since its foundation were summed up and priority plans and tasks of activity for 2023 were outlined.

The activists were welcomed by the FinU Rector Stanislav Prokofiev, noting that the club “Self-Government Beyond Borders” is one of the brightest student associations of the University. “I thank you for your work, and today I would like to know how you yourself see the future of the club, which development vectors you consider really important,” the Rector addressed the students. Stanislav Prokofiev also emphasized the importance of feedback from students in various fields of activity.

Alexander Kozharinov, Vice-Rector for Social Work and Extracurricular Activities, in his welcoming speech noted the uniqueness of the club site format and the importance of interaction with public authorities for the qualified specialists’ training in management. “The Club is a unique project and a forge of FinU personnel,” the Vice-Rector added.

In accordance with the meeting program, the heads of specialized departments of the the practice-oriented student club “Self-Government Beyond Borders” presented the activity results in such areas as organizing practices and expanding interaction with partners in public authorities and commercial organizations, scientific and project activities, as well as in other areas of the practice-oriented club.

The event was attended by parents of the club members and activists, who thanked its head Lyubov Adamskaya for the experience she gives to students, helping to unlock their potential and realize opportunities for career and personal growth.

The event working part was completed by the report of the chairman of the practice-oriented student club “Self-Government Beyond Borders” Arseniy Sudorgin, dedicated to the club’s strategic plans.  Among the main work areas, he noted the expansion of partnership and the implementation of joint projects with the youth authorities’ chambers, the socially significant projects’ implementation, the improvement of the mentoring system aimed at the professional knowledge development and as well as students’ communication skills.
