On February 9, 2023, the Chairman of the Moscow City Duma, Alexey Shaposhnikov, delivered an open lecture at the FinU. The meeting with students and teachers was devoted to the key work priorities of the deputy corps and strategic directions of Moscow development.
The lecture “Moscow is the best city on Earth” was held as part of the educational project “On Equal Terms” by the Dean of the FinU Faculty of Law Gulnara Ruchkina.
During his speech, Alexey Shaposhnikov introduced students to the structure of Moscow authorities and parliament. The Chairman of the Moscow City Duma also told the guests about the economic, innovative, industrial, transport and urban planning spheres of Moscow life. He particularly drew attention to the transformation process of the city infrastructure and the digitalization impact on the population comfort level.
Students were also interested in the skills needed to build a successful career. Answering this question, Alexey Shaposhnikov stressed the importance of the ability to adapt and to think outside the box.
