On February 9, 2023, a solemn ceremony of signing Joint Activity Roadmap of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Belarus State Economic University took place.
According to the document signed by Stanislav Prokofiev, FinU Rector, and Alexey Egorov, Rector of BSEU, it is planned to launch and implement partner projects in educational, scientific and cultural activities as part of cooperation.
Stanislav Prokofiev, FinU Rector, welcomed the participants of the meeting – University administration representatives. In his opening remarks, he noted that BSEU has been a strategic partner of the FinU for more than 10 years and expressed gratitude to colleagues for fruitful joint work.
"By signing today the Joint Activity Roadmap of the FinU and BSEU for 2023-2024, we are reaching a qualitatively new cooperation level and laying the necessary foundation for the successful implementation of promising projects," the Rector stressed.
Stanislav Prokofiev emphasized the importance of mutual integration and direct dialogue between educational organizations of Russia and Belarus interested in implementing joint programs aimed at creating a unified educational space.
In turn, the Rector of the Belarus State Economic University Alexey Egorov, in his speech, stressed the importance of partnership and mutual integration in the main areas of activity and noted the value of cooperation in the economic and financial spheres.
As part of the event, 11 main partner projects were presented in various areas of activity, including the publication of joint tutorials, the development of new academic programs and the scientific research implementation, academic mobility promotion of students and teachers, as well as the creative events' organization.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that cooperation between universities such as project management will contribute to strengthening educational and scientific ties.
