On January 31, 2023, the first meeting of the FinU Academic Council took place this year. 

 

According to the established tradition, at the beginning of the meeting, employees were awarded departmental and corporate awards in a solemn atmosphere.

 

Further, representatives of the publishing houses “INFRA-M”, “KNORUS”, “PROMETHEUS” and “Yurayt” awarded diplomas for the best educational publications to authors and creative research teams from among the FinU employees. 

 

The solemn part ended with the presentation of certificates of awarding the associate professor academic title by the Rector of the FinU Stanislav Prokofiev.

 

The meeting’s working part started with the report of the Vice-Rector for Strategy and Work with Authorities, Dmitriy Semenov, on the FinU promotion results in the university rankings in 2022 and the tasks for 2023. During the Academic Council meeting, the reports of the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Svatlana Solyannikova, were also heard on the consideration of the Long-term Research Plan for 2023-2025 and on the implementation results by structural units of the approved targets for 2022 to attract extra-budgetary funding as part of research activities.

Further, in accordance with the agenda, curricula for bachelor’s degree programs, master’s degree programs and programs for training the faculty in full-time postgraduate studies for admission in 2023 were approved.

 

At the same time, as part of the Academic Council  meeting, other FinU relevant issues were also considered.
