On January 27, 2023, a meeting of the University administration and the Accounts Chamber representatives of the Russian Federation took place at the Financial University. The event agenda included cooperation in science and education.
As part of the meeting, the development of the Accounts Chamber basic department at the FinU as a reference platform for training personnel in state audit was presented. The department will become a tool for consolidating accumulated experience, analyzing and replicating best practices.
Stanislav Prokofiev, FinU Rector, noted the relevance of the identified work areas and stressed the importance of exchanging experience for highly qualified personnel training in state audit.
Acting Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Galina Izotova, in turn, noted the high role of scientific and educational cooperation for the qualitative training of a state auditors’ new generation. She also added that as part of the educational process, it is planned to actively involve students in specialized events and invite them to internships.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that joint work in personnel training will contribute to the new scientific school development and the transformation of a state auditor as a job.
During the visit, the Accounts Chamber representatives also visited the Museum of the FinU.
