On December 23, 2022, a solemn ceremony of awarding the social and professional award “Leader of TVET 2021/2022” was held at the FinU. The mission of the award is to promote the prestige of TVET, strengthen its position as one of the leading components of the country’s economic and social development.
The award ceremony was opened by Stanislav Prokofiev, Honorary Economist of the Russian Federation, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Rector of the FinU, noting that the competition brought together the best representatives of the TVET system.
Senator of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Skakovskaya made a welcoming speech. She expressed great gratitude to the award laureates, the leadership and members of the “Union of Directors of TVET ” from the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture. Lyubov Karavaeva, Deputy Head of the Advanced Training and Training Development Department of State Policy in the Field of TVET and Vocational Training of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, also welcomed the participants of the award ceremony “Leader of the TVET”.
This year, the competition initiator was the All-Russian public organization “Union of Directors of TVET of Russia”. Thanks to the partnership with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian Youth Union, the competition has reached a new level. According to the competition results, 21 winners were determined, including 14 directors and 7 professional educational organizations, 22 laureates among state, public figures and social partners of secondary vocational education in Russia and 84 finalists.
The honorary award “Director – Leader of TVET”, which was presented by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Work of the FinU, Doctor of Economics, Professor Ekaterina Kameneva, was received by the director of the College of Computer Science and Programming of the FinU Nadezhda Demkina.
Viktor Demin, President of the Board of Directors of the TVET of Russia, congratulated the winners of the Social and Professional Award “Leader of TVET” in the nomination for personal contribution to the TVET development.
The competition organizers expressed special gratitude to the College of Computer Science and Programming for their assistance in preparing and holding the award ceremony “Leader of TVET”.
