On December 20, 2022, a Memorandum on Cooperation was signed between the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Center for Research, Analysis and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the final meeting of the FinU Academic Council in a solemn atmosphere in a videoconference mode.

 

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its chairman, Natalia Godunova, a FinU alumnus, who noted that the signed Memorandum would become a new milestone in the scientific and educational activities of the Center for Research, Analysis and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.

 

Stanislav Prokofiev, FinU Rector, said that as part of this Memorandum, cooperation is envisaged in a range of areas, including joint scientific and analytical research, academic exchange, the development of innovative teaching methods and technologies, the development of retraining and advanced training programs.

 

Stanislav Prokofiev also stressed that in accordance with the signed document, the first concrete initiative has already been worked out – the creation of the State Audit and Financial Control international laboratory, which will be opened on the basis of the Department of Financial Control and Treasury of the Faculty of Finance.

 

In turn, the importance of opening the laboratory was noted by the director of the Center for Research, Analysis and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Ybyrayim. In conclusion, he expressed confidence that the results of joint work will make a positive contribution to the sustainable development of the two countries.

Further, at the meeting of the Academic Council, a cooperation agreement was signed with the autonomous non-profit organization “University of the National Technological Initiative 2035”, the first global digital university in Russia.

 

The FinU Rector Stanislav Prokofiev stressed that as part of the agreement, it is planned to carry out cooperation and interaction in educational, research activities, information and consulting services, taking into account national development goals and strategic objectives of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030. He also noted that special attention will be paid to the additional programs as part of national projects.

 

The Rector of the University of the National Technological Initiative 2035, Vadim Medvedev, outlined the principles and university activity areas to the members of the Academic Council and expressed gratitude to the FinU for active cooperation and support of new initiatives contributing to the development of the Russian Federation.

 

Also at the meeting of the Academic Council, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for the finalists and winners of the Competition of the Financial University and PJSC ROSBANK “Create your startup”. The FinU employees were awarded, i.e. with certificates of awarding academic titles of professor and associate professor.

 

Also, the members of the Academic Council were presented for consideration of the following plans for the next 2023: scientific activity plan, publications’ plan, a plan of financial and economic activities. Other issues of the FinU current activities were also considered.
