On December 20, 2022, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, as part of a meeting of the Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government, considered the recommendations of the Second All-Russian Forum “Transformation and Digitalization of Regions and Municipalities Economy, Social Sphere and Management Teams’ Training”, held at the FinU on November 18, 2022.
On behalf of the FinU Rector, the meeting of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government was attended by the Vice-Rector for Continuing Education Elena Didenko.
Elena Didenko delivered a FinU Rector’s speech of gratitude to the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government Alexey Didenko, his first deputies Gennady Panin and Sergei Morozov, members of the Committee and the staff of the Committee for cooperation in organizing such an important and necessary event for regional and municipal managers.
“FinU pays special attention to the regional agenda, issues of socio-economic development of regions and life quality. One of the priority areas of training at the FinU is the direction of state and municipal administration, and as part of additional professional education, our university annually participates in the implementation of professional retraining and advanced training programs for federal and regional students. We expect that in 2023 the cooperation between the FinU and the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government will expand,” said Elena Didenko.
During the meeting, the gratitude of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government was announced to the FinU Rector Stanislav Prokofiev, Vice-Rector for Continuing Education Elena Didenko, Deputy Director of the Center for the Development of Additional Education P.M. Ponomarev.
