On December 6-7, 2022, the final competitions of the ICPC Programming Championship among students in the Northern Eurasian region were held in St. Petersburg. 

 

ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is the most prestigious and large–scale student team competition in sports programming in the world, where the best minds of the planet compete annually. Every year, more than 52,000 of the best young programmers from more than 110 countries take part in it, and only 1% of the strongest reach the final tournament. More than 300,000 programmers who have participated in the ICPC championships of the past years make up the elite of the global digital industry and work in leading international technology companies.

 

This year 260 programmers from the capital, consisting of 87 teams from 17 Moscow universities, competed for passage to the finals of the ICPC Programming Championship among students in the Northern Eurasian region. FinU took part in the championship for the first time and according to the results of the final competitions, the university team, which included Damir Bekirov, Semyon Babich, Yuri Korobkov and coach Sergey Korchagin, received a diploma of the 3rd degree.
