At the VII International Forum “Economic Fights Without Rules: Tips for Victory” at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the rating of responsible business – Rating of Ecology, Personnel and State (ECG-rating) – was presented.  

 

The developers of the  Rating of Ecology, Personnel and State were the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Institute of Demographic Policy named after D. I. Mendeleev with the support of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District I. O. Shchegolev, the Federal Tax Service of Russia, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.

The rating includes all companies that actually operate in the Central Federal District, except for microbusiness, one-day firms and companies violating the legislation of the Russian Federation – almost 45 thousand in total.

In addition to the traditional ecology and economic sustainability of the company, special attention in the  Rating of Ecology, Personnel and State is paid to corporate social responsibility and the relationship of business with the state, which are aimed at solving demographic challenges.

The first stage of the  Rating of Ecology, Personnel and Staterating is scoring based on public data collected by the Federal Tax Service. The scoring results can already be found on the экг-рейтинг.рф website.

The second stage of the rating has been launched, implying an expert assessment of the socio-demographic contribution of participants based on a survey of enterprises. Companies operating in the Central Federal District can become participants of the second stage by downloading a questionnaire on the website and filling it out. The rating project office was created at the initiative of the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District at the Institute of Demographic Policy after D. I. Mendeleev.

At the moment, TransContainer (part of Delo Group), which is the country’s leader in demographic measures for employees, has passed all the stages. So, since this June, a decision has been made to pay 1 million rubles at the birth of the 3rd and subsequent child of a TransContainer employee, provided that the previous child was born during the employee’s work in the company. At the end of 2022, a lottery will be held for large employees of the company with a prize fund of 5 million rubles.

The leaders of the  Rating of Ecology, Personnel and State will be given priority advantages in terms of state support in the regions of the Central Federal District. In fact, the rating participants become demographic agents of the state for their employees and clients. The pilot project has already begun to be worked out on the territory of the Vladimir region.

Demographic challenges require new solutions. A decent salary and a package of understandable demographic measures in the company will be able to significantly improve the demographic situation.
