February 13-14, 2020, a group of students and scholars from Kindai University in Osaka, Japan, visited Financial University. This visit was the first step in implementing the project “Monodzukuri”. It should be noted that Financial University is one of the participants of this program from the Russian side.

The Monodzukuri program is a state educational project of Japan aimed at sharing experience and joint training of professional personnel in high-tech, natural science, and innovation spheres. The project is carried out by Kindai University in cooperation with Russian universities.

Visitors had an intense program during their visit. They listened to the presentations of different departments,  participated in the business game "Economical Production as a Reasonable Risk Concept", which was organised by the Department of Management with the support of Kaizen Institute. Moreover, they had a chance to attend a presentation by Mail.Ru Group, the Russian leader in the IT industry, and a lecture of Head of the Department of Data Analysis, Decision Making, and Financial Technologies Vladimir Solovyov "Machine Training in the Smart Industry".

Students of Kindai University also explored the central campus of the Financial University, visited the Museum of Finance, and saw the Interactive Map of Moscow, which allowed to learn more about the development of the capital city.
