February 17, 2020, a tour to the State Historical Museum was organised for foreign students from the Financial University by the Office for Foreign Students and Scholars in cooperation with the Department of Language Training. 

Students from the following 24 countries joined the tour: Albania, Belarus, Benin, Bolivia, Botswana, Bulgaria, Cameroon, China, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, the Dominican Republic, Equatorial Guinea, France, Guinea-Bissau, Greece, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, Mongolia, Niger, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

During the tour to the exhibition "Treasures of Antiquity and the Middle Ages", the students learned a lot of interesting facts about unique monuments which are the national pride. 

The students saw rare manuscript books and letters on the birch bark, treasures of tzars and boyars, belongings of Mongolian khans, armory of the Russian army, and portraits depicting tzars and knyazes.  

Magnificent decorations of the museum halls transferred the unique atmosphere of different epochs, helping plunge into the atmosphere of those times.

In addition, students visited another exhibition with "Russian Empire in the XVIII-XIX Centuries in the Monuments of the Historical Museum". The tour guide talked  enthusiastically about Russian emperors from Peter I to Alexander III, public and state figures, generals, representatives of science and culture. All of those people made a great contribution to the history of the Russia.
