On October 11, 2022, the VI annual All-Russian Economic Dictation was held at the FinU. More than 8 thousand university students took part in the educational project organized by the Free Economic Society of Russia (VEO of Russia) and the International Union of Economists (IUE) in an online format. 300 university students and high school students did the dictation in person at the Moscow central FinU campus.

The participants of the event were welcomed by the FinU President, VEO of Russia Vice-President Mikhail Eskindarov, who emphasized the importance of the project for improving the level of economic literacy among young people.

Yulia Gruzina, FinU Deputy Vice-Rector for Research, in turn, noted that FinU annually acts as one of the central platforms for economic dictation, helping to reach the main goals of the all-Russia educational campaign – to evaluate and improve the economic literacy level of citizens, promote the intellectual potential of young people, assess economic activity and people’s economic literacy.

This year the dictation test includes 28 questions from courses in economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics, and the history of economic studies.

The results of the dictation will be published on the official website of the project. The winners – participants who scored more than 85 points – will be invited to the final stage of the Economic Science Festival, and will also be able to take part in other events of the VEO of Russia.
