On May 20, 2022, the FinU Professorial Club hosted a meeting of the FinU administration and representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt – Mohamed Hassan Abdel Azim, President of the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences, and Nur Nada, Professor of Cairo University. The agenda of the event included international cooperation development in the field of education and science.
Yekaterina Kameneva, Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodical Work delivered a welcoming speech from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Lilia Prikhodko, Head of the FinU Department of International Cooperation, Kirill Babaev, Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations and Alla Grishkova, Head of the Department of World Economy and International Business attended the meeting and told the guests about the University’s main directions, ongoing international projects and opportunities for their development.
In turn, delegation representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt thanked the FinU administration for the meeting and expressed interest in developing joint projects in various fields of science and education. During the meeting, the parties identified key areas of academic and scientific cooperation, agreed to jointly develop and prepare for signing a cooperation agreement.
Summing up the discussion, Professor Nur Nada noted that today it is especially important to strengthen socio-economic, trade and cultural ties between Russia and Egypt in order to solve urgent problems which the world community faces.
