On April 26-29, foreign students of the Financial University participated in the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum “Russia and the World in New Realities: Changing World Economic Relations” (EEYF), which took place in Ekaterinburg.
The Department for Working with Foreign Students, together with the Pre-University Training Faculty, within the framework of cooperation with the Association of Foreign Students of Russia, sent a delegation of FinU foreign students from Italy, Jordan and Kyrgyzstan.
The Ural State University of Economics is the organizational center of the EEYF. The XII EEYF gathered over eight thousand participants from 92 countries of the world and 76 regions of Russia. The Ekaterinburg-Expo exhibition center hosted the grand opening of the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum.
Presidential Envoy to the Ural Federal District Vladimir Yakushev, who participated in the opening ceremony, in his welcoming speech noted the participation of ambassadors of several dozen states in the opening of the EEYF, which, according to him, “refutes the myth of Russia’s global isolation.”
Universities and research centers of Eurasia, large industrial companies, all-Russian and international business associations, socio-political, and ethno-cultural international youth organizations participated in the organization and holding of the forum.
The guests of honour were ambassadors of 27 states, such as the Arab Republic of Syria, Peru, Mali, the Republic of Chad, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Jordan, the Gabonese Republic, the Republic of Guinea and others, 57 representatives of the diplomatic mission, 149 universities of the Russian Federation, CIS countries and abroad.             
                                            
The forum participants marked the beginning of the “Friendship Tree” alley. The action was simultaneously held in Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Baku, Bishkek, Dushanbe and Nur-Sultan.
