For the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, 2025 was a year of considerable achievements, significant victories, and systematic development. The university strengthened its position in both educational and professional rankings, while also demonstrating sustained growth in applicant interest.
The 2025 admissions campaign was the most successful in the university’s history. Over 287,000 applications were submitted by more than 50,000 prospective students. The average score of admitted students competing for state-funded places, taking into account individual achievements, was 93 points. More than 23,000 talented and ambitious young people became university students this year, including Hero of Russia Maxim Devyatov.
In 2025, the Financial University for the first time entered the top 10 Russian universities according to RAEX, a reputable ranking agency. Additionally, it improved its positions in several prestigious Russian and international rankings.
A notable achievement was the university’s leadership in the National Graduate Employment Rating. On June 15, 2025, the Russian Ministry of Labor and Social Protection published the inaugural national employment ratings for graduates on the “Work of Russia” portal. The Financial University ranked among the top 10 Russian universities in terms of employment rates and graduate salaries across three major groups of fields of study.
