The event was opened by Alexey Oborsky, Deputy Vice-Rector for Strategy and Work with GR, and Irina Okhtova, Director of the Directorate of Employment, Career Development and Work with Alumni.
Alexey Oborsky noted the importance of expanding cooperation between the FinU and the authorities, Irina Ohtova thanked for the opportunity to learn more about career tracks for students who provide such events.
The Staff of the State Duma was represented by:
- Sergey Berkovsky, Head of the Professional Development Department of the Civil Service and Personnel Department of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly (the Russian Federation),
- Artyom Volodin, Deputy Head of the Information Systems Support and New Technologies Development Department of the Technological Support Department of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly (the Russian Federation),
- Vitaly Mishin, Head of the Social Security Department and Transport Support for the Management of the Affairs of the State Duma of the Staff of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly (the Russian Federation),
- Alexander Nevsky, Chief Adviser of the Analytical Support Department for Legislation and Parliamentary Programs of the Expert and Analytical Department of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly (the Russian Federation),
- Natalia Naumenko, Deputy Head of the Department for Consideration of Citizens’ Appeals and Organizations of the Department for Work with Citizens’ Appeals.
- Elena Popova, Acting Deputy Head of the Department – Chief Accountant of the Financial and Economic Department of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly (the Russian Federation).
- Alexey Steshin, Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly (the Russian Federation).
More than 80 FinU students took part in the event.
The participants of the meeting got to know the activities of the Staff of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, as well as the requirements and criteria for admission to practice, and the possibilities of internship in the structural divisions of the Staff.
At the end of the event, students asked questions and filled out questionnaires to participate in the selection for internship.
