The Federal Service for Labour and Employment (Rostrud) has expressed its appreciation to the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation for the successful implementation of the international professional retraining programme “Labour Market and Employment Management” for representatives of the Republic of Burundi and Burkina Faso.
In an official letter addressed to the Rector of the Financial University, Rostrud highlighted the high quality of the educational process and the effective cooperation established between the University and the federal agency throughout the project. Special recognition was given to the work of the University’s project team led by Vice-Rector for Continuing Professional Education Elena A. Didenko.
The letter emphasizes that throughout the entire training period, the Financial University team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, strong commitment, and the ability to effectively address non-standard challenges. Thanks to the close cooperation between the University and Rostrud, all stages of the programme were successfully completed, including the in-person training module held in Vladimir in April 2026.
The “Labour Market and Employment Management” programme was designed for specialists from relevant government institutions of partner countries and focused on contemporary approaches to labour market regulation, the development of employment mechanisms, and the improvement of public administration in the social sector. The programme concluded with the presentation and defence of individual projects dedicated to the development of national employment systems in Burundi and Burkina Faso.
Rostrud also expressed its readiness to continue cooperation with the Financial University in implementing professional retraining programmes for employees of specialized government agencies from friendly countries. This high assessment by the federal executive authority underscores the importance of the University’s international educational initiatives and their contribution to the development of professional and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and the countries of the African continent.
