The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Hanoi University of Finance and Banking have signed an agreement to launch a double degree network program. The signing ceremony took place on April 9, 2026, as part of the Russia-Vietnam Culture and Sports Festival in Hanoi. The document was signed by Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the Financial University, and Mr. Pham Ngoc Anh, Rector of the Hanoi University of Finance and Banking.
"Today, on the sidelines of the Festival, we are signing an agreement to implement a joint bachelor's degree program in 'Business Management/Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)' and 'International Business.' This represents a unique format for training highly qualified management professionals with competencies in demand in both countries. The program's launch will address a key challenge of our time—preparing leaders capable of effectively building bilateral economic ties and driving successful Russian-Vietnamese business cooperation," emphasized Stanislav Prokofiev. The Faculty of "Higher School of Management" at the Financial University will oversee the program's implementation on their side.
Mr. Pham Ngoc Anh, Rector of the Hanoi University of Finance and Banking, noted that extensive work has been done to develop the program and design the curriculum. Graduates will gain a competitive edge in the job market by understanding the specifics of both countries. Mr. Bui Xuan Bien, Chairman of the University's Academic Council and founder of the Hanoi University of Finance and Banking, in turn, highlighted the special role of the Russia-Vietnam Consortium of Economic Universities in advancing scientific and educational cooperation between Russia and Vietnam. It is thanks to the Consortium's efforts that the necessary organizational and academic conditions have been created to launch joint projects and educational programs.
Students will not only master fundamental and practical skills in business administration but also have the opportunity to comprehensively explore Russian and Vietnamese culture, history, and traditions.
