On April 8, a working meeting of the Russian–Vietnamese Consortium of Economic Universities (RVCEU) was held at the Banking Academy of Vietnam.
Established to promote academic, scientific, and socio-cultural collaboration between Russia and Vietnam, the Consortium was founded on September 10, 2024, in Moscow and brings together nine leading economic universities. Its co-founders are the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
Key results over two years:
- 100+ students annually participating in academic exchange programs
- Development of dual degree programs
- Four major conferences held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Moscow, with two published proceedings
- Launch of the “Knowledge Marathon: Russian Week of Economics in Vietnam,” featuring lectures by leading Russian experts
Over time, the Consortium has evolved into a platform for meaningful academic dialogue and sustainable international cooperation.
The meeting concluded with the presentation of letters of appreciation to the leadership of member universities.
