On April 17, 2026, a working meeting was held between A.S. Kislyakov, Director for International Cooperation, and Mr. Abderraouf Zuhdi Mustafa, President of the International Academy for Arabic Language and Testing “TANAL” (Amman, Jordan).
The event was attended by representatives of the “ARABIAN DREAM” Foundation — an organization dedicated to the development and promotion of the Arabic language, introducing Russian audiences to the rich Arab culture, and facilitating practical cooperation between organizations from Russia and the Middle East. The Foundation actively works within the framework of the Federation of Russian and Arab Universities, which unites leading higher education institutions from both regions.
During the talks, the participants discussed key areas for further cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the “TANAL” Arabic language testing system for students of the Financial University. This system is recognized in a number of Arab countries and provides an objective assessment of language proficiency in accordance with international standards.
In addition, the meeting addressed the certification of Financial University instructors enabling them to work with the “TANAL” methodology. Certification will make it possible to standardize the learning and knowledge assessment process, as well as to enhance the qualifications of university Arabic language teachers.
Following the meeting, the parties noted the high potential for long-term cooperation. The possibility of concluding an official cooperation agreement between the Financial University and the “ARABIAN DREAM” Autonomous Non-Profit Organization is currently being explored. This document will establish the organizational framework for conducting tests, certification, and joint educational and cultural projects.
The Financial University continues to actively develop international ties with Middle Eastern countries, opening up new opportunities for students and teachers in the fields of Arabic studies and intercultural communication.
