On April 22-23, 2026, a delegation from the Dalian Neusoft University of Information (People's Republic of China) visited the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The visit was aimed at developing academic, scientific and educational cooperation between the universities
The Chinese delegation included Feng Shixuan, Deputy Director of the International Institute of Dalian Neusoft University of Information, and Yin Yilin, a specialist of Russian program management. On the part of the Financial University, the following representatives took part in the events: Anatoly S. Kislyakov, Director for International Cooperation; Olga V. Kalyamina, Head of the International Affairs Department; Igor S. Skvortsov, Head of the International Relations Office of the International Affairs Department; Maria I. Volkhonova, Deputy Dean for Relations with Russian and International Partners of the Faculty of International Economic Relations; Anastasia S. Karikova - Deputy Dean for Relations with Russian and International Partners of the Faculty of Higher School of Management; Hvicha P. Kharchilava - Deputy Dean for Relations with Russian and International Partners of the Faculty of Economics and Business; Roman S. Tanchuk – Deputy Dean for Relations with Russian and International Partners of the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis and Irina I. Klimova – Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
On the first day, April 22, the delegation was welcomed and negotiations with representatives of the Faculty of Higher School of Management and the Faculty of Economics and Business were held. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of digital economy and logistics solutions.
The next day, representatives of the Dalian Neusoft University of Information met with students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis and their parents. The guests were able to ask all their questions about the implementation of the joint educational program and the opportunities for students to participate in international projects.
During the visit, the emphasis was made on the discussion of the development of academic mobility of students and teachers, the implementation of joint research, the preparation of publications and participation in international grant competitions. The parties also discussed the creation of international temporary creative student groups.
Special attention was paid to the analysis of the results of joint bachelor's degree programs (38.03.02 Management, profile "Marketing" and "Logistics", 09.03.04 "Software Engineering", profile "Software Development Technology", "Data Engineering", 09.03.03 Applied Informatics, profile "Data Engineering", "Financial Management", 38.03.01 Economics, "Corporate Economics, ESG and Corporate Law", educational program "Corporate Finance", profile "Corporate Finance and Business Analytics (partially taught in English)", profile “Corporate Finance and Investments”), including the achievements of the students of the first streams, their participation in competitions, as well as the conditions of education and residence in China. As a result of the meetings, further directions for the development of the partnership and prospects for recruiting Chinese students to study at a Financial university in 2026 were identified.
