On April 30, 2026, Dr. Faisal Javaid, Head of the Department of International Relations and Mass Communications, Deputy Director for Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology in Islamabad, visited the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
The visit was regarded as a part of the development of international educational and research cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in the format of international temporary creative student groups, which are actively developed by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications of the Financial University.
During the visit, Dr. Javaid had a meeting with Anatoly S. Kislyakov, Director for International Cooperation of the Financial University, and the leaders of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications. The parties discussed the prospects for the development of academic cooperation, including educational initiatives and scientific research. The guest also had a conversation with the scientific leaders of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and considered the possibilities of expanding joint research projects and involving students in international scientific activities.
Dr. Javaid also visited the Alumni Alley, as well as modern university spaces for scientific and project work. The visit became a platform for the exchange of experience in the field of scientific research, innovation and commercialization of scientific research results.
The key outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Cooperation agreement between the Financial University and the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology in Islamabad. The document is aimed at developing long-term partnerships, strengthening academic ties and creating conditions for the implementation of joint educational and research projects.
It is expected that Dr. Faisal Javaid's visit will strengthen further international cooperation and expand the Financial University's participation in the global academic and scientific space.
