On April 10, 2026, the Financial University and the University of Languages and International Studies of Vietnam National University (ULIS-VNU) signed agreements on cooperation and academic exchanges. The documents were signed by Rector of the Financial University Stanislav Prokofiev and President of ULIS-VNU, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Linh.
The University of Languages and International Studies is part of Vietnam National University. In its core field of "Linguistics," the university ranks in the top 250 worldwide according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject, underscoring its high academic standing.
The parties agreed not only to launch student academic exchange programs but also to jointly promote Russian and Vietnamese languages. They decided to establish reciprocal language classrooms: the universities are now preparing to open a Vietnamese language classroom at the Financial University in Moscow and a Russian language classroom at the partner university in Hanoi.
A delegation from the Financial University visited classes for students studying Russian at the Faculty of Russian Language at ULIS-VNU. Stanislav Prokofiev addressed the audience, sharing insights about the Financial University. A short cinema-themed quiz was also held for the Vietnamese students. In response, the students expressed strong interest in participating in future academic exchange programs.
To conclude the visit, the Financial University donated a collection of monographs and textbooks prepared by its experts to the Vietnamese university, along with traditional Russian national costumes, balalaikas, and other souvenirs reflecting the rich traditions of Russian culture.
