On May 14, 2026, during the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2026" at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and INCEIF University (Malaysia) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document was signed by Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of Financial University, and Dato' Dr. Mohd Azmi Omar, President and CEO of INCEIF University.
Key areas of collaboration outlined in the Memorandum include:

Developing short-term learning formats, including professional development and continuing education courses,

Creating practice-oriented educational tracks focused on Islamic finance, sustainable development, and international financial regulation.
In his remarks, Rector Stanislav Prokofiev highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership:

The Memorandum establishes a foundation for long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation in education and research between the two institutions.
INCEIF University is an international specialized institution established by the Central Bank of Malaysia. It focuses on training professionals and advancing research in Islamic banking and sustainable finance. The University offers master's, doctoral, and professional development programs that combine rigorous academic training with strong industry connections.
Financial University is also actively expanding its partnerships with other leading Malaysian institutions, including UCSI University and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, through student and faculty exchange programs.
