Useful Information

How to Study at the Financial University Through an Exchange Program

Step 1

Contact the International Office at Your University and Confirm Whether There Is a Cooperation Agreement with the Financial University

Step 2

The Coordinator at Your University Nominates You for the Exchange Program by Sending the Nomination Certificate to the Coordinator at the Financial University via Email

Step 3

The Incoming Mobility Coordinator at the Financial University Confirms the Nomination

Step 4

The Student Sends the Required Documents to the Coordinator at the Financial University and Receives an Invitation Letter for the Visa

Necessary Documents

Students must prepare the following documents and send them to the coordinator at the Financial University via email:

  • Enrollment application (to be filled out on a computer)
  • Visa invitation application if a visa regime is in effect between Russia and the country of residence
  • Copy of the international passport (must be valid for at least 1.5 years from the date of issuance of the Russian visa)
  • Certificate of no less than B2 level in English or Russian (depending on the language of instruction) or proof of language proficiency (no lower than B2) on the university's letterhead
  • Transcript of records confirmed by the university
  • Passport-sized photo (JPEG format)

Upon arrival at the Financial University, the international student must provide the coordinator with additional documents:

  • International health insurance (can be purchased at the Financial University)
  • Medical certificate of health status (must be translated into Russian)
  • 4 passport-sized photos

Cost of Education

All international exchange students study at the Financial University for free

Accommodation

The Financial University provides all exchange students with a place in a hall of residence. The cost of it is approximately 3000 rubles per month (please contact the coordinator to confirm the current amount before submitting your application).
Detailed information about the hall of residence, academic calendar, educational process, etc. will be sent via email to students accepted to participate in the exchange program.
