On April 11-13, 2024, the First Indo-Russian Education Summit and exhibition “Russian Education 2024” was held in the capital of India, New Delhi, the largest event in the history of relations between the two countries with the participation of Russian universities.

The Education Summit is the first large-scale event in the history of Russian-Indian relations dedicated to  cooperation in education. As part of the Summit, panel discussions, round tables with Russian and Indian universities, presentations of start-ups of Russian universities and visits to Indian universities were organized.

The Summit was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian House in New Delhi, and the Center for International Education (Russia). The event was held with the support of the Russian Embassy in India.

The representatives of the FinU at the Education Summit and exhibition were Svetlana Bryukhovetskaya, Vice-Rector for Marketing and Working with Applicants, and Pavel Seleznev, Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.

During the Summit, the exhibition “Russian Education 2024” was held, aimed at popularizing Russian education in India.

In addition to Russian universities, the Summit was attended by representatives of Indian authorities, Indian universities and business representatives, employees of the Russian Embassy in India and the Indian Embassy in Moscow, representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian House in New Delhi.

As part of the educational summit and exhibition, the University staff held a workshop where foreign applicants learned about the advantages of admission to the FinU, about opportunities for FinU students, about the concentrations of training that are being implemented at the FinU, as well as about possible trajectories of admission to bachelor’s, master’s and postgraduate programs.

Svetlana Bryukhovetskaya, Vice-Rector for Marketing and Working with Applicants, and Pavel Seleznev, Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, held meetings with representatives of the administration of FinU’s partner universities in Bangalore – the leading private Alliance University and the state and youngest in B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics. The parties agreed to expand the academic mobility of faculty and students, as well as to sign an agreement on the opening of educational programs of double degree diplomas.
