Activists of FinU Faculty of Law Present Ideas for Social Youth Projects

On March 14, 2024, Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, visited the FinU Faculty of Law and talked with students who are active participants in Russian and international scientific and educational conferences, case championships, and authors of entrepreneurial initiatives. 

Students presented scientific, creative and social projects implemented at the faculty, as well as presented new ideas.

Addressing the activists, Stanislav Prokofiev stressed that it is important to involve young people in solving socially significant tasks and develop the volunteer movement, and also noted the contribution of the Dean of the faculty Gulnara Ruchkina to improving the educational process, scientific work of students and the creation of a comfortable infrastructure. The FinU Rector also spoke about the new educational project “Learning by Service”, whose participants apply professional skills to solve real social problems.

Activists made a proposal to hold a legal forum for schoolchildren and FinU students. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of entrepreneurial ideas: Valeria Tormozova, a student of the faculty, told about an educational podcast launched on the students’ initiative dedicated to the Law development and its relationship with various fields of knowledge, as well as a cycle of excursions to iconic places in Moscow. Stanislav Prokofiev highly appreciated the students’ ideas and gave recommendations for their further implementation.

During his visit to the faculty, Stanislav Prokofiev also inspected an exhibition of works by students of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts of Sergei Andriyaka, a long-time partner of the FinU. The exposition of the exhibition demonstrates the diversity of creativity of faculty and students of the Academy of Watercolor.
