Scholarship of President of Russian Federation for Studying Abroad in 2024/2025 Academic Year

The International Cooperation Department informs students about the possibility of participating in the annual All-Russian Open Competition for the appointment of scholarships from the President of the Russian Federation to study abroad in the 2024/2025 academic year (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) for students in bachelor’s, master’s and postgraduate scientific and pedagogical training programs.

The Competition is open to students enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs (hereinafter referred to as students) and postgraduate training programs for faculty (hereinafter referred to as postgraduate students) who are citizens of the Russian Federation, who have proved themselves in science, culture and art, who have achieved significant success in fundamental and applied scientific research, with the exception of persons who those completing their studies in 2024, recommended by the academic council of the university.

The scholarship includes the expenses of the scholarship holder of the President of the Russian Federation for:

·         study in friendly countries, 

·         obtaining a visa (or other special permit for temporary residence in the country),

·         travel to and from the place of study,

·         payment for a place of residence (rental of premises),

·         medical insurance,

·         payment for local transport.

The duration of study is not more than one year, it can be reduced, but not less than one semester.

The study abroad program must correspond to the applicant’s study program at the sending organization.

The applicant collects and submits documents for the competition in the following order:

·         Submission of documents for participation in the internal Competition - from 03/14/2024 to 14.00 on 03/21/2024.

·         Discussion of candidates at the FinU Academic Council - 03/26/2024.

·         Submission of documents for participation in the Competition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation - from 03/26/2024 to 14.00 on 04/14/2024.

·         Documents are uploaded to the website of the Intereducation - until 04/22/2024, carried out by the International Cooperation Department.

Full information about the requirements for participation in the competition is provided in the letter from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and on the website.
