The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation announced a competition (selection) for the grants’ provision in science, subsidies from the federal budget for scientific research by Russian scientific and educational organizations of higher education together with organizations from CIS countries and neighboring countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Tajikistan) as part of ensuring the implementation of the program bi- and multilateral scientific and technological cooperation.
Grant period 2 years (2024-2025).
The grant amount is no more than 15 million rubles per year (up to 30 million rubles for 2 years).
Requirements for the project submitted for competition:
- The project should be aimed at conducting applied scientific research and achieving concrete results. The research topic is formed on an initiative basis as part of the priorities of the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation.
- The project should be carried out jointly with one or more organizations of the CIS countries and neighboring countries and may provide for the possibility of attracting co-executors from among Russian organizations.
- The project must have confirmation of co-financing from a foreign organization(s).
- The project should provide for the presence of a specific consumer (or group of consumers) of the project results, represented by an Industrial Partner(s).
Indicators necessary to achieve the grant:
a) the number of publications based on the project’s results in scientific journals indexed in the Scopus and (or) Web of Science Core Collection databases,
b) the number of patents, certificates and (or) applications for patents for inventions, utility models, industrial designs, selection achievements, certificates of state registration of programs for electronic computers, databases, topologies of integrated circuits filed as part of the project and corresponding to the priorities of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation,
c) the share of researchers under the age of 39 in the total number of employees of the organization directly involved in the implementation of the project,
d) the amount of funds raised by a foreign organization(s) — in the amount of at least 50% of the amount of the grant provided.
The selection is carried out in the state integrated information system for public finance management “Electronic Budget” on the portal for providing state financial support measures.
The deadline for accepting applications on the portal is 23.59 Moscow time on April 08, 2024.
