On January 30, 2024, FinU held a meeting with the administration of the Department of Finance of the City of Moscow and signed a cooperation agreement with the state budgetary institution “Financial Agency of the City of Moscow” (Mosfinagentstvo).
The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Continuing Education E.A. Didenko, FinU, Deputy Vice-Rector for Continuing Education I.S. Shevalkin, Director of the Institute of Financial Literacy M.P. Petrichenko, director of the Center “Project Office of Continuing Education (DPO)” P.M. Ponomarev, employees of the Institute of Financial Literacy, and from the Department of Finance of the city of Moscow – Deputy Head of the Department of Finance of the city of Moscow Yu.B. Komkova, Head of the State Budgetary Institution "Mosfinagenstvo" D.L. Mikhailov, Head of the Department for Media Relations O.A. Volkov.
During the meeting, the Vice-Rector for Continuing Education, E.A. Didenko, told representatives of the Moscow Department of Finance about the development of the continuing education system at the FinU and about the implementation by the FinU of measures to form and develop skills in the financial literacy of the adult population. The participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities of cooperation in conducting events to develop financial literacy in Moscow.
As part of the meeting of the Academic Council of Institutes and schools of continuing education, a cooperation agreement was also signed between the FinU and state budgetary institution Mosfinagenstvo.
State Budgetary institution “Mosfinagenstvo” is under the departmental subordination of the Department of Finance of the city of Moscow. A Financial Literacy Center has been established on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution “Mosfinagenstvo”, the main task of which is to increase the level of people’s financial literacy of the city of Moscow.
