Agreement on Double-Degree Program Implementation Signed with Jilin University (China)

In January 2024, the long-awaited agreement on the implementation of the bachelor's double-degree program was signed with Jilin University (PRC).

The initiator and developer of the program on behalf of the FinU was the Department of International Business of the Faculty of International Economic Relations with the support of the International Cooperation Department.

The agreement was preceded by the visit of the delegation of Jilin University in April 2023, the joint organization in July 2023 of international summer schools for Russian and Chinese students, the creation and operation of the Russian-Chinese currency trading system. 

The basis for the double-degree program was:

- from the FinU - Bachelor's degree program "Global Economics and International Trade (with in-depth study of Chinese economy and Chinese language)" of the Faculty of International Economic Relations;

- from Jilin University - Bachelor's degree program "National and Regional Economics (region of specialization: Russia) Institute of Northeast Asia. 

As part of the further development of cooperation between the two universities, active work is also underway to publish joint textbooks and conduct scientific events on relevant topics.
