“FinU is a university of opportunity. Over 105 years of work, we have trained more than a million specialists. Today, FinU is the largest university that trains professionals in economics, management and finance and is one of the five largest universities in the country. Being the flagship of financial and economic education, we are shaping new trends,” explained the FinU Rector.

Stanislav Prokofiev outlined the unique educational project of the University, which allows combining two specialties in a diploma, as the first trend developed by the FinU. The educational model combines such specialties as business audit and law, international communications and corporate culture, corporate reporting and business law, and others.

“The profession of a financier today requires knowledge in professional and communication skills, the ability to work in a team, strategic thinking, knowledge of digital technologies and the ability to apply them,” added the Rector of the FinU.

Following the concept of academic leadership, the FinU develops unique training courses and trains new types of specialists who can find non-standard solutions and use high-tech digital tools.

“FinU implements a unique course on Digital Finance, where we teach design thinking and train mathematical economists who speak the R programming language, which is in demand for solving specific functional problems,” Stanislav Prokofiev noted.

FinU, being the leader of financial and economic education, forms the skills and worldview of students of economic specialties throughout the country, as well as expands skills in other areas through collaborations with Russian universities - leaders in their subject area,
