Meeting of FinU Council for Digital Transformation Held

On December 18, 2023, a meeting of the Digital Transformation Council was held at the FinU, chaired by Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the University.

The agenda of the event included the main results of the FinU information systems’ modernization in 2023, the vector of services and infrastructure development was determined: centralization and security.

The meeting was attended by the Rector’s office representatives and the FinU administration. As part of the discussion, problematic issues in the IT unit activities and ways to solve them, the potential of a new integration policy within the IT infrastructure and the introduction of new technologies’ introduction  were discussed.

Business processes’ digitalization is one of the key areas of activity today, and FinU fully responds to this request.

A Digital Transformation Center has been established in the University structure in order to organize, coordinate and implement relevant projects.

The Center’s work is aimed at the development of automated control systems, the formation of knowledge bases, operational user support and improvement of the e-learning system as a whole, as well as technologies for the use of digital educational tools.
