We are glad to welcome you at our web page, a page of the International Business School (Institute) that is part of the Financial University. ‘We value the past, we build the future’ is a motto of our Alma Mater, where a large united team of employees and students operates. All of us, incl. students, teaching staff, practitioners and auxiliary staff, who are engaged in facilitating the process of offering further business education programs are part of the team. The year 2021 is a time for change for the International Business School. Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, says in the wonderful book ‘we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.’ This is a deep thought indeed. What could it mean for us? We can increasingly hear that classic MBA programs are down and the short-term programs are up. The world is changing so rapidly that the content and format of classic MBA programs fail to keep pace with the times. Therefore, today, the School’s staff are determined to be proactive not to lag behind others. We are developing new business education program formats and use the learning modes that are rarely used in classical business education (e.g. e-learning mode and distance learning technologies). Nevertheless, we are sure that high-quality classical business education will always be in demand with the students. Such programs can meet any challenge of the time, if the learning material is chosen that in line with the principle of continuous change at the level of each course and each program. Therefore, everyone can understand why we use the slogan Continua progressionem (continuous change) as our motto. Undoubtedly, this will require our friends and partners, teaching staff and practitioners who are at the core of our School to make a huge intellectual effort. We can already offer a wide range of programs designed to meet the most demanding students’ needs. We are ready to assist each visitor of this page in building his/her individual learning trajectory.
