This program continues the bachelor degree program of the profiles “Economic Political Science” and “Public Relations in Politics and Business”, providing in-depth training of specialists capable of working equally successfully with the issues of both political and economic development of modern states. For applicants with specialties we offer a number of adaptation courses.
Within the framework of this master's program the following professionals teach at the faculty: representatives from management, expert, and analytical structures, such as the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Center for Political Conjuncture of Russia, Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM), the News Agency “Novoe Vremya”, the Center of Political Information, the National Energy Security Foundation, the Russian Council for International Affairs, and many others.
The aim of this discipline is to create an understanding of the basic concepts, which characterise relations of political and economic entities in modern Russia and foreign countries.
The discipline is devoted to an integrated approach to the assessment of state decisions in the field of political and economic stability of a modern state.
The course is aimed at developing an ability to work with large volumes of information when writing analytical materials, both academic and documents for commercial realisation in the market of consulting services.
Within the framework of the discipline, students receive in-depth knowledge in the field of modern theoretical developments of institutional science, the functioning of institutional systems, and the effectiveness of formal and informal institutions.
Students will obtain skills in classifying methods of destabilisation of political regimes, analyse the processes of "color" revolutions, and study destabilisation of political regimes in specific countries.
This discipline offers students in-depth knowledge of the latent and shadow mechanisms for implementing the modern policy, as well as applicability of the deviant forms of political activity at the beginning of the 21st century.
