On November 12, 2025, the "Base" concert venue hosted the Financial University’s annual autumn event — the "Full Moon Ball," themed "Whisper of the Sea Depths." The Department of Extracurricular Activities and the Project Committee created a truly enchanting atmosphere, where the magic of the full moon immersed students in a world of wonder, dance, and romance.
The Financial University’s Rector, Stanislav Prokofiev, welcomed guests with a speech: “Each autumn, our ball is dedicated to a new theme — one that you suggest yourselves. Today, it’s ‘Whisper of the Sea Depths,’ and everything around is filled with maritime romance. I can’t help but rejoice at your mood, your happy faces, and your positivity. I want to note that not every university hosts events of this scale for students. We do it for you because we are proud of our students. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you an ocean of happiness, a sea of bright impressions, and unforgettable emotions on this magical evening!”
The maritime theme was brought to life from the very first moments: themed photo zones, masterclasses, and interactive activities were organized for guests. In the beauty zone, artisans created elegant mehndi tattoos, body art, and decorated hair with shimmering threads. Future secrets were revealed by numerologists, tarot readers, and astrologers, while in the creative workshop, everyone could craft bracelets, postcards, matching stickers, or learn neurography techniques. A romantic love zone was especially popular, where visitors could take compatibility tests and visit a stylized wedding registry office, continuing the beautiful tradition of the university’s balls, where couples confess their feelings.
“The theme of our autumn ball is ‘Whisper of the Sea Depths.’ Student years are like the sea — sometimes turbulent, sometimes calm. And our Financial University is not just an educational institution but a true ocean of friendship, where you might meet your second half, even if they’re hiding in the depths of semesters and presentations. So let this evening bring a wave of positive emotions and a sea of joy!” welcomed the guests, Alexander Kozharinov, Vice-Rector for Social Work and Extracurricular Activities.
On the main stage, creative groups and studios from the Financial University performed a variety of musical and dance numbers inspired by the sea theme. The audience warmly welcomed performances by the "Frappe" choreography studio, the modern dance group "Liberte," the folk song ensemble, the dance studio "SDS-Fam," the vocal and dance ensemble "FINMUSE," the band "FanSeгvіs," the "FUNT" theater, the drummers’ ensemble, as well as soloists from the university’s vocal studio and choir. The most elegant performance of the autumn ball was the debutants’ dance.
This magical autumn evening turned into a true celebration for all guests, allowing them to forget worries and studies, and to enjoy laughter, dancing, and bright emotions.
