On November 18, during the meeting of the Academic Council of the institutes and schools of continuing professional education, a ceremonial presentation of qualification improvement certificates took place for the international participants of the “Doing Business in Russia” program. Elena Didenko, Vice-Rector for Continuing Professional Education, warmly welcomed the international graduates of the program, congratulated them on successfully completing their studies, handed over the educational documents, and wished them success in implementing their business plans in Russia, supported by the knowledge gained during the training.
The “Doing Business in Russia” program, conducted in English, has been successfully implemented for the third year by the Higher School of Management and Technology. It aims to strengthen business ties between countries and attracts foreign investors as it is oriented toward entrepreneurs planning to develop their business in Russia. The program includes representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises from distant and nearby foreign countries such as India, Vietnam, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Congo, Nigeria, Zambia, Kazakhstan, and others.
During the program, participants acquired essential knowledge in economics and finance, became familiar with tax legislation, studied the specifics of doing business in Russia, and learned about the mechanisms of cross-border payments and customs procedures. The program provided first-hand insight into regulatory nuances and applicable practices in various fields. Through interactive sessions, experts offered practical advice on investment, taxation, labor administration, import/export, and many other areas.
Numerous positive feedback and expressions of gratitude have already been received from participants, along with wishes to continue cooperation with the university. We sincerely believe that the implementation of this educational program fosters the development of business cooperation and strengthens trade and economic relations between countries.
