On October 29, 2025, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve signed a cooperation agreement in the cultural and educational sphere. The document was signed by Rector Stanislav Prokofiev and General Director Vadim Zadorozhny.
"The signed agreement between the Financial University and the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve is our contribution to preserving and strengthening spiritual and moral values, supporting socially significant initiatives, and fostering patriotic education among youth. The first joint project within our cooperation will launch tomorrow: the opening of a unique exhibition, 'The Peoples of the Russian Empire,' provided by the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve. I am confident that our collaboration will actively promote interest in Russian history among young people and help achieve significant results in ensuring Russia’s cultural sovereignty," emphasized Rector Stanislav Prokofiev.
"Arkhangelskoye Palace, following the Yusupov family’s legacy, should serve as a place where young people gather and learn. I am very pleased that we are partnering with such wonderful colleagues as the Financial University. This agreement symbolizes our shared commitment to fruitful cooperation aimed at preserving Russia’s historical heritage," said Vadim Zadorozhny, General Director of the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve.
The first phase of the cooperation program will begin in November this year. As part of the cultural and educational project "Financial University Days at Arkhangelskoye," students will deliver lectures and masterclasses for high school, technical college, and college students in the Moscow region. Prospective students will have the opportunity to ask questions about studying, research activities, and student life at various faculties of the Financial University. These meetings will take place in the Cinema Lecture Hall and the Colonnade of the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve.
Simultaneously, the project "Arkhangelskoye – To the Financial University: Cultural and Educational Exhibitions" will be launched. Students will be able to visit engaging museum exhibits without disrupting their studies. The Museum-Reserve’s exhibitions, including "The Peoples of the Russian Empire," "Gymnastics or Exercises for Health," and "Regarding the Russian Word," will be held at the main building of the Financial University on Leningradsky Prospekt.
Another area of cooperation will be a joint project titled "Linguistic Support for Museum Exhibits for International Tourists," which will facilitate practical training for students of the Financial University. The project involves developing and implementing multilingual navigation and interpretive materials. Through this initiative, students will have the opportunity to apply their language skills and make a direct contribution to the development of the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve’s exhibits.
