On October 29, 2025, the National Center RUSSIA hosted the ceremonial presentation of the first Eurasia International Award. The award was established by the "Eurasia" Non-Profit Organization in partnership with Rossotrudnichestvo to recognize outstanding contributions to the development of Eurasian countries in areas such as preserving traditional values, culture, education, volunteerism, folk diplomacy, and historical memory.
Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia and Press Secretary of the President, noted: "What the 'Eurasia' Non-Profit Organization is doing is a noble task: cultivating a historical affinity among our peoples. It is a good cause — bringing people together to discuss shared values, a common vision of how states should coexist and cooperate, and how, without infringing on each other's interests, they can implement very important projects together."
The Faculty of International Economic Relations at the Financial University was awarded in the "Bridges of Friendship" category, which gathered numerous initiatives promoting international cooperation. A total of 361 applications were submitted for this category. The Award was given for the successful implementation of an interregional youth sports and patriotic project called "Games of the Future," utilizing phydgital technologies. In 2024, the Faculty’s project united over 5,000 people from Russia, the CIS countries, and Africa.
The Award was presented to Dean Pavel Seleznev by Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia.
Over 3,700 applications from 27 countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Georgia, Italy, and Spain, were received for the competition. The final stage involved more than 1,000 participants — laureates, experts, public figures, and distinguished guests.
