About the Faculty
Multiplying the traditions of the Moscow Institute of Finance/Financial Academy/Financial University, using the latest educational technologies and scientific achievements, we prepare highly qualified specialists in the field of finance, insurance and business valuation, who are in demand on the job market. We actively participate in the production, dissemination, and use of the latest fundamental and applied knowledge in finance and economics.
For decades, Faculty alumni have formed the elite of the country’s financial system. Among the alumni of the Faculty are: Chairman of the Government of the USSR V.S. Pavlov; Ministers of Finance of the USSR, RSFSR and Russian Federation A.G. Zverev, I.I. Fadeev, I.N. Lazarev, V.E. Orlov; V.G. Panskov, B.G. Fedorov, A.G. Siluanov; Chairman of the Russian Pension Fund Board A.V. Drozdov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank B.I. Zlatkis; Ministers of the Government of Moscow V.E. Chistov and many others.
