About the department
The Department of Sports Management and Marketing of the Faculty of “Higher School of Management” implements undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs. Our main goal is to train managers for all subjects of the sports industry:
- Sports federations
- Sports clubs
- Objects of sports infrastructure (stadiums, sports and recreation centers, ski complexes, auto-trails)
- Sports equipment manufacturers
- Fitness clubs
- Cyberspace organizations
- Sports media
- Betting companies
We prepare top managers and managers ready to develop the already existing or create new businesses in sports, taking into account the complex realities of the modern world and Russian economy.
We place an emphasis on a unique practice-oriented knowledge base, supported by cooperation with leading sports organizations. Leaders of the sports industry are regularly invited to give lectures to our students, events are regularly organized at sports facilities. Our partners of internships, and we assist our students in realizing their ideas, creative and professional potential through a unique experience of in-house training. In addition, a number of staff retraining programs are being organized.
