The mission of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication is to prepare globally competitive professionals who are fluent in two foreign languages and who are in demand in professional environments in a multicultural world.
The goal of the language training of students provided by the faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication is to create an English-speaking educational environment that will most effectively contribute to the formation, development, and improvement of foreign language professional communicative and intercultural skills of students at three levels of higher education.
The English-speaking educational environment is an artificially created environment, both inside and outside the classroom, in which students communicate in English.
The methodological basis of the language teaching carried out by the faculty of the Department is the Content-Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) methodology, which is a bi-directional approach to competence: a foreign language is both a subject of study and a means of studying specialized disciplines.
A significant potential for the successful achievement of this goal is:
Academic Supervisor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication
Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication
Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication for Educational and Methodological Work
Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication for Educational and Methodological Work (Program of Linguistics)
Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication for Research.
