About the department

The training of qualified personnel for the IT sector is an important direction in the modern education system, corresponding to the Development Strategy of the Information Society in Russia for 2017-2030, approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 9, 2017 No. 203.

Since 2012, the Basic Department of 1C Technologies has been working at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The Department’s main goal is practice-oriented training of students in advanced information technologies used to automate the work of thousands of commercial enterprises not only in the Russian Federation, but also abroad, as well as training highly qualified specialists for the 1C ecosystem.

The Department of 1C Technologies annually trains bachelor’s and master’s degree students in the development and operation of systems on the 1C:Enterprise, increasing the practical value and innovative component of graduate qualification papers and master’s theses. Students are provided with participation in the International Programming Olympiad and several other thematic events and programs.

The participation of the employees of 1C-Rarus Group in the educational process allows to synchronize the educational programs with the current business tasks, which significantly increases the potential of future specialists.

The Basic Department is actively engaged in career counseling of students and promotes alumni employment. Every year FinU students practice in various departments of 1C-Rarus, take part in internship programs, and alumni successfully work as specialists in various departments of the Group.

• Conducting lectures, seminars and workshops for students of various profiles and educational programs.
• Participation in the development, improvement and implementation of bachelor and master educational programs.
• Organization and holding of a scientific and practical programming section on 1C:Enterprise and in the environment of 1C:Enterprise Development Tools.
• Development of training and teaching materials for the operation of application solutions and the development of services and applications on the 1C:Enterprise platform.
• Providing scientific guidance and consulting in the preparation of сourse papers and diploma theses with an emphasis on solving applied problems in 1C technologies.
• Research work in applied informatics and automation of enterprises, participation in scientific, practical and educational conferences.
• Preparation of students for participation in national and international events and programs in 1C.
• Organization of educational and industrial practice of students, assistance in employment of students and alumni.
