Dear FinU Students, Staff, and Faculty,

Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced a "non-working" week in Moscow until June 20, as COVID-19 cases hit a six-month high. In accordance with this Decree, I have decided to move all classes, finals and state examinations online. Only employees who directly support the activity of the University and those responsible for organising the final state examinations will continue working offline. All examinations, including the FSE, are conducted in accordance with the procedure adopted last March. All the necessary information has been published on the University’s website and distributed among all FinU faculty, staff and students.

I would like to address our undergraduates, graduates, as well as students of FinU colleges and lyceums. We were planning to organise a beautiful graduation ceremony at the Crocus City Hall. Alas, the current circumstances will not allow us to hold this solemn ceremony, which is really unfortunate. But I promise, as soon as we get a chance, we will host a concert for the Class 2020 and 2021, and we will undoubtedly invite everyone.

At the end of the academic year, a large number of important events were planned, among them the Scientific Council 15.06.2021. Due to the restrictions, the Scientific Council will take place online, technical services of the University will help us not only organise the meeting, but also the election of the new faculty members by secret ballot.

The extended meeting of the Scientific Council will be held on June 29th, 2021. It will be attended only by its members, deputy deans, and heads of the departments.

On June 15th, 2021, the Rector’s Office decided that all remaining exams will be organised online.

Please stay healthy, be careful and get vaccinated!
