On March 22, 2021, Financial University was visited by a delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Russian Federation Alexander Ben Zvi.

The following issues were on the agenda:

  1. Increased cooperation of the Financial University with partners in Israel;
  2. Joint implementation of international round tables and conferences as well as international exchange programs for students, double-degree diplomas and the Visiting Professor Program;
  3. Improved investment climate and economic safety of Israeli companies conducting business projects in the Russian Federation and CIS countries.

Rector Prof. Mikhail Eskindarov and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Alexander Linnikov greeted His Excellency the Ambassador and the distinguished guests.

In his welcoming speech, Mr Linnikov thanked the representatives of the State of Israel for their interest and active cooperation. He elaborated on the University’s history, the main directions of the university’s activities and its branches, noting the importance of educating foreign citizens.

Attaché, Representative of the Ministry of Public Security and Police of the State of Israel in the CIS and Baltic States Paul Pavel Timkowski and Press Attaché of the Embassy Rami Teplitskiy attended the meeting.

Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Andrey Rementsov, 

Head of the International Relations Department Lilia Prikhodko, Head of the International Students and Faculty Department Anatoly Kislyakov, and Head and Assistant Professor of the Department of Risk Analysis and Economic Security Igor Lebedev and Igoris Krzherchkovskis also took part in the meeting.

At the end of the negotiations, the parties underlined the main areas for further interaction and expressed mutual interest in the development of such fruitful cooperation.
