On May 26, 2021, Financial University organised the first working meeting with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) to exchange experience and broaden the areas of cooperation.
Having successfully overcome the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Financial University became one of the leaders in internationalisation of Russian education. This was made possible thanks to the introduction of innovative working methods in higher education systems, the use of best practices in Russian and foreign universities, and the strengthening role of international cooperation.
The achievements of the FinU International Cooperation Office were highly appreciated by Rossotrudnichestvo at the strategic session "Rossotrudnichestvo — as a Platform for Promoting Russian Universities».
A number of leading Russian universities have expressed interest in studying and adopting practices of the Financial University.
Alexander Linnikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, greeted the participants on behalf of the Financial University. During the welcoming speech, Mr Linnikov spoke about the key directions of the University’s activities, noting the main opportunities for students offered by the FinU:

Vice-Rector of RANEPA Dmitry Butashin thanked everyone for the invitation to visit the University.

The representatives of RANEPA actively participated in the negotiations, showing great interest in exchanging experience and working methods with the Financial University.
Head of the International Students and Faculty Department Anatoly Kislyakov responded to the questions asked by the colleagues and provided detailed information on the admissions, studies and adaptation of foreign students.
Deputy Vice-Rector for Marketing and Work with Applicants Kira Artamonova, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Pre-University Training Faculty Ekaterina Popova, Head of the Department for Work with Applicants Aziza Azizova, Deputy Head of the International Students and Faculty Department Stanislav Bortkevich, Deputy Head of the International Students and Faculty Department Anastasia Voitsytskaya, Head of the Migration and Visa Department Svetlana Lebedeva as well as Head of the Department for International Student and Faculty Support Daniil Sin.
Moreover, the meeting was attended by Advisor to the Vice-Rector Valery Abrashchenko and Larisa Taradina Director for International Education and Cooperation Development.
At the end of the meeting, an active discussion took place: the parties discussed the main areas of further cooperation and also outlined steps to develop fruitful interaction.
