On April 24, 2021, just before Victory Day, the International Students and Faculty Department organised a bus tour for the FinU foreign students to Patriot Park.

The tour was attended by students from Belarus, Cameroon, Congo, Ecuador, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Nigeria, Peru, Serbia, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

The students visited a unique historical and memorial complex “Partisan Village” — a collective image of all partisan camps from the period of the Great Patriotic War. All decorations and utensils inside were recreated from the photos and memories of partisans. The complex consists of 17 objects: dugouts, shelters, first-aid posts, depots with ammunition and weapons, kitchen, bakeries, and etc.

The huge exposition of military equipment, in particular tanks of various years of war, produced in the USSR, Hungary, Great Britain, Germany, Japan and others, aroused special interest of the foreign students.

The Memory Lane Museum, or the Museum of 1418 steps (that is how many days the war lasted) made a vivid impression on everyone. State-of-the-art technologies manage to recreate the atmosphere of that time. Newsreels, war songs, historians' comments help you immerse in the events of those days.

The Monument to the Mothers of Winners left no one indifferent.

The grandiose Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces impressed the visitors with its scale, greatness and beauty.

All the exhibitions aroused great interest among foreign students, emphasising heroism, inhuman efforts and the united fighting spirit of our people, thanks to which we won victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The next tour for foreign students will be to the city of Military Glory of Russia Rzev and will take place in May.
